All orders placed through our online shop are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are also applicable to any future commercial relations with businesses, even if not explicitly stated. We do not accept any conflicting or supplementary general terms and conditions used by businesses, unless we have given our express approval to the contrary.
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through Show Me Fonts, which is operated by Bernd Volmer, located at Zossener Strasse 7, Berlin, Germany. By placing an order, you accept these terms andconditions in full.
The person responsible for the purchase contract is Bernd Volmer from Show Me Fonts. When you browse through our online shop and add products to your basket, it represents a binding offer from our side to initiate a contract regarding the items. You have the option to modify your selections or remove them entirely before confirming your order by using the correction features provided during the ordering process. By clicking on the order button, you acknowledge and agree to our offer for the goods in your basket, and this will form the contract between us. As soon as you submit your order, you will receive a confirmation email.
The contract language available for conclusion is English.
We will store the text of the contract and send the order data and our Terms of Service to you via email. You can also access and download our ToS at any time from our website. By logging into your account, you can also view your past orders.
Subject of the contract is the purchase of digital fonts through a download. Our service is limited to providing you with a copy of the product for download. Any installation required for the use of the font is not included in our service.
Our fonts are protected by copyright. We grant you a non-exclusive, time-limited right to use the font for your own purposes, within the normal use. You are not allowed to make any changes, edits, or reproductions in public. Any copying that is not part of the normal use is prohibited. You are allowed to transfer your copy permanently to a third party, provided that you contact us to transfer the license, explicitly inform the third party of the scope of their right to use, provide any relevant accompanying documentation, and completely abandon your own use of the product. You can abandon your own use by deleting all copies from your devices and external data storage media. We may ask you to confirm in writing that you have completely abandoned your own use of the font.
Customers can purchase products on our online shop using either Stripe or PayPal. When using PayPal, customers will be directed to create an account with PayPal before completing the transaction. The customer's PayPal account will be charged immediately upon purchase. For Stripe payments, customers will be required to provide their payment details during the checkout process, and their payment will be processed immediately upon purchase.
Consumers have the legal right to cancel their order as explained in the Returns Policy. However, businesses are not granted any voluntary right to cancel.
Until full payment is made, the goods purchased from us will remain our property. For businesses, we also reserve ownership of the goods until complete settlement of all claims from our ongoing business relationship.
Even though you are permitted to sell on reserved goods in the ordinary course of business, all claims arising from the onward sale must be assigned to us in advance. This includes claims from connecting or mixing the reserved goods with a new item, and the amount assigned should be equal to the invoice amount.
You still have the authorization to collect the claims. However, if you fail to fulfill your payment obligations, we have the right to collect the claims ourselves.
We want to ensure that the products you receive from us are of the highest quality and meet your expectations. As such, we are legally obligated to provide you with products that conform to the terms of our agreement.
If you are a consumer, your statutory warranty rights are governed by the laws of the country where you reside. For businesses, claims for defects are limited to one year from the transfer of risk, and the statutory limitation periods for the recourse claim under Section 478 BGB [German Civil Code] remain unaffected.
We assume no liability for any public statements made by the manufacturer or other advertising statements. If the item you receive is defective, we may choose to provide supplementary performance by either repairing the defect or delivering a non-defective item at our discretion.

Our liability is not limited in the following cases:
In cases other than those listed above, our liability is limited to foreseeable and direct damages at the time of contract conclusion.
In the event of a dispute between Show Me Fonts and a customer, we will always strive to find an amicable solution. If an agreement cannot be reached, customers have the option to use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform to submit a complaint. This platform is designed to facilitate the resolution of disputes arising from online transactions.

Please note that we are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and are generally not willing to do so.
In case you are a business, the applicable law will be the German law, and the UN Sales Convention will not be considered. If you are considered a "Kaufmann" as defined by the German Commercial Code (HGB), a public-law legal entity or a special public-law fund, our registered office will be the exclusive legal jurisdiction for all disputes arising from contractual relationships between us and you.
