We want to ensure that the products you receive from us are of the highest quality and meet your expectations. As such, we are legally obligated to provide you with products that conform to the terms of our agreement.
If you are a consumer, your statutory warranty rights are governed by the laws of the country where you reside. For businesses, claims for defects are limited to one year from the transfer of risk, and the statutory limitation periods for the recourse claim under Section 478 BGB [German Civil Code] remain unaffected.
We assume no liability for any public statements made by the manufacturer or other advertising statements. If the item you receive is defective, we may choose to provide supplementary performance by either repairing the defect or delivering a non-defective item at our discretion.
Please note that the restrictions and shortened time limit mentioned above do not apply to claims for damages caused by us, our legal representatives, or legal agents, including but not limited to:
- injury to life, limb, or health
- deliberate or grossly negligent breach of duty, as well as fraud
- breach of material contractual obligations, the fulfilment of which makes the proper execution of the contract possible and on which thecontracting parties may generally rely and trust in being complied with
- within the context of a guarantee commitment, where agreed.
